23 Aug Science – Rangers help plant a new entry way
Room 27 had a special treat in Science with Mrs Elphick this week, when Ranger Brad and Ranger Jyran from the Aboriginal Corporation came to visit to plant some native trees and shrubs 
in the pre-primary entry way. The students had to: weed the area, dig the holes and select which seedlings they wanted to plant.The kids had a great time! Ranger Brad gave us lots of information about the types of plants we were planting and the types of creatures that might make their homes in these plants once they are established. The rangers will come back in a few months to check on the plant growth and help us maintain our new native entryway! Great job Room 27, and thanks to Brad and Jyran (and special helper Amara from room 24) for all of your help
