STEM Challenge keeps the Gingerbread Man dry and safe

Miss Whittingstall’s class were set an interesting STEM Challenge last week: Make a bridge for the Gingerbread Man to cross. Using the materials given, they were asked to ‘design and engineer a bridge that goes over the water to keep the Gingerbread Man safe from the fox’. The bridge needed to stand on its own and they had to show chief engineer Mrs Pountney how the Gingerbread Man goes up, over, and down the bridge.
