It’s a story many of us have heard before…”Back in myyyyy day we had to do our swimming lessons at the beach, we didn’t have a warm pool like the kids of today!”.  Well, for the last two weeks our students in Rooms 8, 9 and 11 have experienced this story first hand. Every morning they have travelled by bus to Emu Point for their interm swimming lessons. They have had to contend with blue bottle jellyfish and unfavourable, cooler weather with thunder and lightening putting a hold on some of the lessons.  As these photos show, it wasn’t all bad and the warm sunshine did make an appearance.

Thank you to the swimming teachers for their excellent instruction, advice and encouragement. Our students had great fun learning and extending their vital swimming and water safety skills which they will keep for life.
