Bowerbird Blues

Mrs Collins and our Room 27 students recently celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime with “Bowerbird Blues” by Aura Parker. They crafted acrostic poems and created stunning painted bowers using blue materials. A blend of literature, creativity, and teamwork made this an unforgettable adventure!

They enjoyed listening to the reading of the book by Mrs Dawes and were inspired by the collective nature of the bowerbird. Our young artists were thrilled to see their bowers come to life, each one unique and vibrant. This hands-on activity not only deepened their connection to the story but also highlighted the beauty of nature and the joy of artistic expression.
