Throughout the year, students at Spencer Park Primary School can be awarded certificates that recognise and celebrate their personal achievements and positive contributions within our school community:
Values Certificates – Awarded weekly at our mini assemblies focusing on our school values: Respect, Accept, Strive and Encourage Honour Certificates – Awarded at school assemblies throughout the term Pursuit of Excellence – Awarded to one student per class at the end of each term at the Pursuit of Excellence assembly•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
In Week 2, we held our first mini assembly for the year and we celebrated our school value RESPECT.
RESPECT means to show care and consideration. Everyone in our school community can do this by:
Using our manners at all timesShowing appreciation and saying thank you to our school volunteersFollowing instructions and classroom expectationsListening to other people’s thoughts and opinionsSharing equipment at play timesReturning resources and sports gear when we have finished with itSpeaking respectfully to and about everyonePutting our rubbish in the correct binsShowing consideration for others when we move around our schoolCongratulations
