Throughout the year, students at Spencer Park Primary School can be awarded certificates that
recognise and celebrate their personal achievements and positive contributions within our school community:
Values Certificates – Awarded weekly at our mini assemblies focusing on our school values: Respect, Accept, Strive and Encourage
Honour Certificates – Awarded at school assemblies throughout the term
Pursuit of Excellence – Awarded to one student per class at the end of each term at the Pursuit of Excellence assembly

In Week 2, we held our first mini assembly for the year and we celebrated our school value RESPECT.
RESPECT means to show care and consideration. Everyone in our school community can do this by:

Using our manners at all times

Showing appreciation and saying thank you to our school volunteers

Following instructions and classroom expectations

Listening to other people’s thoughts and opinions

Sharing equipment at play times

Returning resources and sports gear when we have finished with it

Speaking respectfully to and about everyone

Putting our rubbish in the correct bins

Showing consideration for others when we move around our school
Congratulations

to all of
our students who have strived to show RESPECT in their classroom, the playground and our community, particularly our students who were awarded a Value Certificate: Evie, Brooke, Brodie, Braxton, Marcel, Addyson, Jason, Erik, Ace and Saxon
