Students in Miss Upson’s classroom have been learning how to build tension in their narrative writing to engage readers and make their writing more interesting. To be successful they needed to:
Write a complete paragraph- Draw on their ‘senses’ to enhance their writing
- Use dialogue to make it more dynamic
- Draft and publish their work
