Yes, true story! Our Year 3 and 4 students have been given the opportunity to sign up and we can confidently tell you&#8230;they&#8230;are&#8230;super&#8230;SUPER EXCITED!!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #233e93;\">What is it?\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #233e93;\">Where is it?\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"color: #233e93;\">How does it work? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Children&#8217;s University is an innovative program that encourages and celebrates children&#8217;s learning beyond the classroom.\u00a0 It happens wherever your child participates in learning experiences outside of regular class hours.\u00a0 It could be visiting and exploring at learning destinations in our community like the:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Museum of the Great Southern<\/li>\n<li>Albany Public Library<\/li>\n<li>Albany Historic Whaling Station<\/li>\n<li>Albany Visitor Centre<\/li>\n<li>Great Southern Science Council<\/li>\n<li>SharkSmart WA<\/li>\n<li>Skate the Snake<\/li>\n<li>Friends of the Fitzgerald River National Park<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Or, Children&#8217;s University may happen during school lunch times, after school clubs, local clubs or lessons (sports, music, dance, arts), school holiday programs or via online activities on the CUA portal.\u00a0 Opportunities for Children&#8217;s University are everywhere!<\/p>\n<p>Registrations are still open, don&#8217;t miss out.\u00a0 We&#8217;re holding a <strong><span style=\"color: #233e93;\">parent information session this Thursday in the SPPS Hall at 3.20pm.<\/span><\/strong> This is your chance to get more information about the program and meet our CUA Liaison, Alex Gerrard.
