13 Sep Year 3/4 win the 2024 Spelling Championships
There were no signs of Hippopotomonstrosequipedaliophobia at the 2024 Spelling Championships held on Friday last week. Schools from across the district travelled into Albany to compete in the spelling competition hosted by Albany Primary School. Spencer Park PS was well represented by four teams of students from Years 3/4 and Years 5/6. Our teams were particularly persnickety, working collaboratively to outmanoeuvre their competitors in:- correctly spelling the championship words, and
- determining the correct meanings of words.
