08 Sep Father’s Day Celebrated
Last week our school community wished all the dads, step dads, grandfathers, uncles and father-like figures in our lives a Happy Father’s Day.
Mrs Fletcher’s class created these gorgeous Father’s Day pictures and used these wonderful words to describe their dads and father figures: Happy Brave Compassionate Busy Funny Tool man Tidy Cheeky Loud Chocolate lover Works everyday Playful
Our annual P&C run Father’s Day stall was held on Thursday and Friday. Students put a lot of thought and consideration into selecting THE perfect gift to give to their dad and/or father figures. We’d like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to our wonderful SPPS P&C and our School Chaplain Mrs Hunt for organising and running our annual Father’s Day stall. It is always a great opportunity for our students to bring in their saved money, manage their own cash budgets and really think about what would be nice and special for the dad/s they were buying for. All SPPS students were in the running to win the P&C Father’s Day hamper that was selected by the SPPS random generator system. The winner was: Charlotte from Year 6
