Denmark Agriculture College Visit- Paddock to Plate

Thank you to WA College of Agriculture Denmark staff and students for welcoming us onto their campus and sharing their extensive knowledge, experience and skills with our Year 5 and 6 students. It sounds like we have MANY of our students now considering futures in agriculture! 🐄🌳🐎🐝🐏🚜🌾 Here’s what Eloise and Evelyn had to say about their visit:
On 7 August, Room 9 and Room 11 went on an excursion to the Denmark Agriculture College for their Design and Tech Topic, Paddock to Plate. While they were there, they split into two groups according to which room they were in. Some of our favourite spots to see, were the Robotic Dairy and the Machinery area.
At the agriculture college there was several stations to
complete, including:
• Equine Station
• Poulty
• Machinery
• Cattle
• Robotic dairy
• Sheep shearing
• Beehives and plants
All of the stations were fun and we had a great time!
