30 Mar Warm & Cool Colours Inspire

We definitely have some budding artists in Room 2 with Mrs McLeod and Mrs Pettet. Have a look at their artwork. Isn’t it spectacular?!?

In Art they have been learning about warm and cool colours. The young artists observed a real tree and thought about what they could see, hear, feel, taste and touch. Then, they drew a tree using permanent markers. Next the artists used warm and cool colours to create a contrast in their artwork.

Some of the student also created a wave picture using warm colours for the background and cool colours for the ocean. Have a sneak peek at their artwork here.
