Thank you to our staff, students and volunteers who represented Spencer Park Primary School in the ANZAC Day Parade on Monday.

This week our students have spent time learning about the spirit of ANZAC.  Mrs Kightly’s Year 1 class have made ANZAC posters.  Chloe said “We started by painting the background. First we painted the mountain at Gallipoli and the water that the warships and soldiers sailed on. I also put green grass on my mountain.  Then we coloured in our soldiers and donkey.  We cut them out and glued them onto the mountain. We typed special words about ANZAC Day and the war on the iPads.  We cut out our words and glued them on to our posters”.

Thanks for sharing Chloe, great work Room 24! Click here to see our ANZAC photos and posters.
