23 Jun CCYP listens to Spencer Park students
What would YOU DO if you were the Commissioner for Children and Young People for a day? This was one of the interesting questions put to our students this morning when they met with Western Australia’s Commissioner for Children and Young People, Jacqueline McGowan-Jones.
The Commissioner is the independent person who works closely with children and young people, their families, community and government to make WA a better place for 0 to 17 year-olds. Today’s school visit was a fantastic opportunity for our SPPS students share their valuable ideas and feedback on things that are important to them directly with the Commissioner.
Thank you to the Commissioner for Children and Young People WA for meeting with our students, listening to them and assuring them that their views have been heard. Please click here to see our photos.
