24 Aug Dockers Cup win for Spencer Park

Last Friday a team of 16 year 4, 5 and 6 girls walked from Spencer Park Primary to the North Road Ovals to compete in the Dockers Cup Carnival. In windy and sometimes wet conditions, the team played Little Grove, Albany Primary and Mt Lockyer winning all games.

They then played a tough semi final against Little Grove winning to make the grand final against Mt Barker. The good mix of year 4, 5 and 6 girls, capably lead by our awesome captain Amelia, won the grand final for the first time ever in Spencer Park Primary history. All girls showed great teamwork and enthusiasm and enjoyed winning.
