The Spencer Park Primary School airwaves were buzzing this afternoon as our weekly mini assembly was broadcast over the school PA system.  The SPPS value in focus last week was Honesty and Trustworthiness.

Congratulations to these students who were awarded a SPPS Values Certificate for demonstrating honesty and trustworthiness: Jaelyn, Brooklyn, Mia, Indyanna, Grace, Keenan, Cody, Lily, Charli, Finley

We asked our students to share with us what they thought the value means and here’s what they had to say:

  • ALWAYS tell the truth, even if it’s hard
  • Own up to your mistakes
  • Make the right choices…EVEN when the teacher is not looking
  • Don’t lie
  • Be honest and seek the truth

Great advice! Congratulations to all of our students who strive to be honest and trustworthy in the classroom and playground, particularly our Value Certificate winners.
