Principal’s Post

Dear Parents and Friends

James Foley

Last Friday Room 3-11 were treated to a free workshop provided by the Albany Public Library to celebrate Children’s Book Week. The students were treated to the amazing, wildly talented and inspiring James Foley, who undertook a workshop about being an illustrator/author. Students had an opportunity to see how James created his pictures and how these then come to life in his writing. As you can see from photos of the visit, everyone had a great time.

Students interested in purchasing one of the many book written by James can find them at Paperbark Merchants.

School Photos

On Wednesday and Thursday, the school will be holding our school photos. Sibling photos forms should already have been provided to the front office and photos for student councilors, faction captains and the choir will be taken and can be organized via information provided in future newsletters or via SMS.

Holidays

It is that time of the term again, where we take a couple of weeks break for holidays! Please have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday break and get ready for a very busy term 4. We have an amazing Concert Night planned for week 3 and our Y6 students go on camp in week 5. Thank you to all the staff and parents for your support of the school throughout the term.
