14 Dec Spencer Spirit and Sparks impress on the court

Did you know we have two Spencer Park basketball teams playing in the Albany Basketball Association?  Our Spencer Spirit girls team have had a brilliant start to their first ever basketball season in the Year 2 competition.  They have worked super hard at training and have learnt basic basketball skills like how to dribble the ball, pass the ball AND everyone in the team has scored points during the games!  Great team work girls.

Spencer Sparks are our boys team in the Year 4 competition.  They played together last season and then changed over  to play under our Spencer banner this season. They are having a cracking season and enjoyed some great games.  Here’s a few photos of the action.

Come down this Saturday to cheer on our two teams, and our SPPS students playing in other teams, in their last games before the holiday break. GO SPENCER PARK!
