We all love to immerse ourselves in interesting, mysterious, intriguing, adventurous stories either through reading or writing them 
Five of our Year 6 students have been able to explore and develop their writing skills as part of this year’s Young Writers program at the Albany Public Library.Young Writers is a face-to-face program that offers an open and encouraging space for young writers to learn from award-winning Australian authors and meet a group of like-minded young people.
Our students attended their final workshop for 2023 last week. The presenter for the final workshop was award winning author Sue Whiting. Sue is the author of more than 60 books for children and young readers and has worked in the publishing industry for over 15 years. WOW! What an awesome opportunity for our young writers
